What a tremendous way to start, maintain and end each day! God truly blesses John Piper with incredibly wonderful insights into singular verses that otherwise can slip past even the most dedicated daily reader of Gods word. My desire is to come to the place where God speaks to me in singular verses as vibrantly as He does with Rev Piper. I cant recommend this strongly enough!!

The devotions are shorter, but connect to a larger reference such as an article at desiringgod.org or reference to pages in a book. While not having the book to reference is disappointing, I know which book it is so I can read more in depth about a given devotional. Very well grounded in scripture as always from Desiring God. Thank you!

A beautiful and easy to use app that delivers short but wonderfully rich meditations for the Christian who is seeking joy in God and hope and strength for the day. Easy to share on social media and has the ability to star/save your favorites.

Content is solidly biblical, encouraging & instructive. The app itself is well designed & easy to use. Definitely recommend & encourage you to download the app & start reading the devotionals.

Im a mom of 6 (11 and younger) and these inspiring devotions from John Pipers books are so intentional and thoughtful. Not whimsy and unrealistic about topics that are cultural - but real core topics that hit me daily with grace and mercy. I love them. Sincerely, I encourage anyone to download this app, turn the notifications on- pray daily for Gods revelation- and let Him move through your life... while journeying through these daily reads. Thank you - Desiring God for all of your beautiful resources that keep this Mommy praying and reading Gods word.

The content is priceless. In terms of app design, it has persisted in resetting to top of devo when tapped by accident or with orientation changes. No other peer app has this issue. Once fixed I would rate it a 5-star app.

While going through my own journey and working on my relationship with God this app has been such a gift! It almost like it seems everydays devotional was meant for me! Its been so encouraging and helpful. I easily read it everyday and look forward to the next one. It takes some self control to not look forward because I dont want to lose that feeling of happiness I get every time. I enjoy having the link to the sermon available as well and try to read them as often as possible. This app is a blessing for make the word of God so accessible!!!

I like the new font, its nice. Can you PLEASE fix the jump back to the top after two seconds have passed whenever I open the app and scroll down. I have no idea why that is a behavior... It still hasnt been fixed. iPhone 5s

This has been a great supplament to my morning routines, even just visiting it throughout the day and it has nourished and encouraged my faith in many ways.

The devotionals are short and sweet but at the same time very deep and biblically based. They almost always make me want to dig deeper into the scripture passage or read the book that the excerpt was taken from.

This app is just what I was looking for—good messages that I can read daily all year (I dont want to search for a new reading plan every few days). The ONLY weakness Ive found with the app is the clunky icon. It doesnt match the quality or tone of the app. It looks like the logo of a sports team.
