What a tremendous way to start, maintain and end each day! God truly blesses John Piper with incredibly wonderful insights into singular verses that otherwise can slip past even the most dedicated daily reader of Gods word.
My desire is to come to the place where God speaks to me in singular verses as vibrantly as He does with Rev Piper.
I cant recommend this strongly enough!!

Some bad moments
I like the new font, its nice.
Can you PLEASE fix the jump back to the top after two seconds have passed whenever I open the app and scroll down. I have no idea why that is a behavior... It still hasnt been fixed.

I love John Piper & Ive been a long time supporter of Desiring God. Ive had this app on my iPhone for several years & have never had any problems with it until the app was updated. I updated app that automatically downloaded on my iPhone in the fall 2016 has been a disaster. It crashes every single time I open it & I read the daily devotionals, listen to messages, etc. Ive experienced the same issues with the app on my iPad Air. Ive missed having access to the app but I finally had no choice but to delete in January 2017. Please make the appropriate changes, fix the bugs & provide a clean, restored updated app. I miss the app before it was updated. Ill read the daily devotional & access previously recorded sermons via the ministry website until further notice. Thank you!
I love this app - the content is amazing and makes for a perfect short devotional to meditate on along side a regular bible reading time. In terms of content, I give 5/5. I chose 2 stars though because the app is still very buggy. It crashes and closes after doing almost anything, with the exception of reading the current devotional. It would also be a neat to be able to choose the date youd like to read from a calendar-type interface rather than having to manually fingerswipe through each day. Overall, great app but still some significant bugs to fix!
John Piper is a phenomenal man of God. If you believe what you believe is really real, you should read his devotional. It a deep and worth the while read. Deepen your relationship with God through the help of a well seasoned man.
This devotional is so beneficial for me and my walk. It sets me up so well for the day.
What can I say but great things about this app.
For one the daily devotionals are thought provoking and can be set for different times.
Save your favorite ones adjust the font size and even share with others. The nighttime mode is a nice touch to. Also look for a Scripture by book. Many wonderful features on this app. I highly recommend this app! Like pastor John Piper says "God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in Him."Amen to that!
